About Paul

The core consultancy service described in this website is provided by Paul McGarry. Clients will deal directly with Paul on their projects.

Paul has worked in the global leisure and entertainment sectors for over thirty years, specialising in toys, games, sporting goods, collectibles and electronics. Most recently he headed up a $650 million* consumer goods business unit for The Walt Disney Company in Europe, Middle East and Africa, giving him exposure to the many different business models used by Disney’s partners. Before that he led the international games business for Mattel, and prior to that was European Marketing Manager for Coleco, a top three toy company at the time.

Paul specialises in kids, tweens, teens and family directed products, and has a good understanding of collectors and fans.

He has worked with many famous brands including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Barbie, Scrabble, UNO, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, Corgi and Cabbage Patch Kids to name a few.

He is a big advocate of technology and has been responsible for the strong growth of Disney’s consumer electronics business in Europe in recent years.

Paul has a proven track record in delivering growth. He delivered double digit CAGR on like-for-like sales† during the 15+ years he was at Disney.
